Structure and Governance

The NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Translating Early Prevention of Obesity in Childhood (CRE EPOCH-Translate) is administered by the Prevention Research Collaboration at the University of Sydney, with research streams based at University of Sydney, Flinders University, Deakin University, and the Sydney Local Health District.  Our governance structure is designed to ensure high quality collaborative research and translation to achieve the CRE vision.

Governance Structure

External Advisory Committee

The CRE EPOCH-Translate Advisory Committee is a policy and practice end-user based advisory mechanism to provide strategic advice and direction to the CRE Executive.  The Advisory Committee provides high level oversight to the CRE vision to improve children’s health and prevent obesity in the early years.  Specifically, it has a critical role in informing the CRE dissemination and translation strategies into policy and practice from a range of perspectives.
