We previously developed health economic models to predict body mass index trajectories, quality of life and healthcare cost savings of early childhood obesity interventions (EPOCH model), differentiated by socioeconomic groups (EQ-EPOCH model).  Using these models, the cost-effectiveness of three different early intervention programs and a hypothetical breastfeeding intervention was evaluated.
