Mohammad Nure AlamĀ is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Health Economics at the University of Sydney, working within the EPOCH CRE (Centre of Research Excellence) on Stream 2. He has a broad interest in the economic evaluation of early childhood prevention and inclusive health policy. Mohammad recently submitted his PhD in Health Economics at Macquarie University, where he conducted a cost-utility analysis of hearing loss interventions using primary health outcome data. His research involved advanced decision-analytic modelling to evaluate long-term health outcomes, costs, and utility gains associated with these interventions. As part of EPOCH Stream 2, Mohammad is working to adapt and extend the EPOCH model to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of obesity prevention strategies for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.
