Grace Vu is a Health Promotion Officer at the Diversity Programs & Strategy Hub, Population Health at SLHD and is an accrediting practising dietitian. She has great interest in health equity and an integrated approach to preventative healthcare. Grace specialises in the development of various health promotion and clinical integration projects tailored for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. She also works part time in primary health care in a multidisciplinary team providing nutritional therapy/counselling to patients and families. She has a combined degree in Applied Science (Exercise Sports Science)/Master of Nutrition & Dietetics and is currently a PhD student at the University of Sydney focussing on cultural competency to improve access to care among CALD children (aged 0-5 years) and families. Grace welcomes greater CALD representation in research to achieve greater access to equitable and quality health care.
