Ms Michelle Tran

Michelle Tran is an early career health economist/research fellow in Deakin Health Economics, specialising in the economics of obesity and other non-communicable diseases. She demonstrates experience in quantitative research, including studying the economic impact of obesity and other non-communicable diseases, evaluating the cost-effectiveness of obesity prevention interventions, and analysing cost and effect data. She has been involved in a number of research and consultancy projects nationally and internationally analysing the direct and non-direct costs of non-communicable diseases and evaluating different obesity prevention interventions.

Michelle’s work is primarily within Stream 2 and collaborates with other streams to contribute to the work of the EPOCH-Translate CRE.
