Pippy Walker

Research Fellow and PhD Candidate

Pippy is a Research Fellow (Health Policy and Economics) and PhD candidate at the Leeder Centre for Health Policy, Economics and Data at the University of Sydney. Her PhD research is focused on establishing methods to include the impacts of childhood obesity prevention initiatives on parents, caregivers and other family members (spillover effects) in economic evaluations.

Pippy’s previous research contributions have involved partnerships with multiple stakeholder groups, mixed methodologies, and primarily focused on improving health systems for the prevention of chronic disease. She also has prior experience working as a dietitian and exercise physiologist in both project management and clinical roles across a range of settings including general practice, youth mental health, residential aged care facilities, private practice and community health centres.
