Professor Elizabeth Denney-Wilson

Elizabeth is a conjoint professor in the Sydney Local Health District and in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. As an international expert on infant feeding and obesity prevention, she is a member of the WHO guidelines committee developing strategies for obesity prevention and management with a Primary Health Care approach. Her research focuses on developing and trialing brief interventions that enable primary care providers to support parents with infant feeding that promotes healthy, rather than excess growth.

In the CRE she has a particular focus on the development of the capacity of  primary care workforce to deliver obesity prevention as part of routine care. Her other key focus is in mentoring and supporting our PhD and Postdocs.
