CRE EPOCH-Translate Annual Meeting, 9-10 May, Deakin Downtown, Melbourne

CRE EPOCH-Translate held its second annual meeting on 9-10 May at Deakin Downtown in Melbourne.  Attended by around 30 members and affiliates, nearly all in person, the two-day meeting was a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections and generate innovative ideas. We thank Prof Sharon Goldfeld, Prof Anna Peeters, and Ms Julie-Anne McWhinnie for their presentations and insightful discussions on policy and practice opportunities to promote health behaviours in early childhood.

CRE members had robust discussions on how the research could better address issues around equity, inclusion, and co-benefits, to ensure the research is relevant and impactful to improving the health of children most affected by obesity.
