A new report is published detailing policy-relevant learnings on prevention in the first 2000 days.  This knowledge synthesis was guided by input from two consultations with policymakers around Australia and combining the learnings from NHMRC Centres of Research Excellence within the Collaboration for Enhanced Research Impact (CERI).  CRE EPOCH was one of the founding members of CERI and its research contributes substantially to this report.

The report presents key findings around the following key areas:

1. Evidence of benefits of prevention across the first 2000 days.
2. Prevention interventions in the first 2000 days that are effective and cost-effective to give children the best start in life.
3. Evidence on how to support implementation and scale-up of effective interventions.
4. Approaches to tailor effective interventions to vulnerable population groups.
